The study compares farm mechanization and farmer’s field practice to document the agronomic economic feasibility of mechanized maize farming. research was carried out in randomized complete block design with 2 treatments farmers 3 replications as location for winter using 10v10 hybrid variety. In aspect, seed rate urea application (17.05 kg ha-1 186.41 respectively) were found lower (30.00 348.00 respectively). Consequently, yield (7.56 t ha-1) (10.43 which attributed by plant population, higher sterility, smaller cob diameter farmers’ practice. benefit cost ratio (3.76) (2.44). Labour shortage can be mitigated through custom hiring center even small holder growers.
